Ease
A fidget for anxious hands.
Drag a finger across a dark screen. A glowing trail follows it and fades behind you. On a supported iPhone, small distinct taps keep pace with your hand. Move slowly and they space out. Move quickly and they tighten up. Stop, and it goes quiet.
That is the whole app. There is nothing to learn and nothing to finish.
Ease is free and will stay free. No ads, no paywalls, nothing locked. If it has helped you, there is an optional tip jar inside under Info, then Support Ease. A tip unlocks the Supporter trail color as a thank you, and nothing else.

A few things worth knowing:
- Using Ease on iPad? iPad hardware does not support Core Haptics, so Ease provides full-screen visual trails, multi-touch drawing, pressure response, and optional ambient sound without physical taps. The haptic slider and pulse totals are not shown on iPad. The iPad Total rises with connected trail segments during drawing instead.
- Not feeling the taps? Go to Settings > Accessibility > Touch on your iPhone and make sure Vibration is on. If Ease is still quiet, turn off Low Power Mode and try again.
- The intensity slider has five steps. Each one changes both how strong a tap feels and how sharp it feels, so the ends of the range are genuinely different rather than just louder and quieter.
- The trail can be plain or glowing. Tap the sparkle button if the bloom is more visual activity than you want.
- Using Ease in public? Tap the ring button at the bottom for Pocket mode. The trail becomes a quiet ring for each tap, and a resting finger gets taps that start slow and build to a steady pace. Press and hold the button to set how fast. Pocket mode needs iPhone haptics.
- Want a gentle reminder? Open Information, then Reminders. You can set up to four daily times. Reminders are optional, scheduled locally on your device, and can be turned off at any time.
- Left a tip and changed phones? The Supporter trail color comes back automatically when you reinstall with the same Apple Account. Refunds for tips go through Apple.
Privacy and terms
Ease collects nothing at all. No accounts, no analytics, no tracking. The only network activity is Apple's App Store, if you choose to leave a tip. Read the full privacy policy and the terms of use. Both are also readable inside the app from the info button in the top corner.
