Privacy Policy for Ease

Ease does not collect or transmit personal data. Nothing about your identity, device, or activity leaves your device.
What the app stores
Ease remembers five possible values between launches:
- Your haptic intensity level
- Whether the trail is set to glow or to a plain line
- Your selected trail color
- Your lifetime haptic pulse total on iPhone
- Your lifetime visual trail segment total on iPad
Ambient sound always starts off on a new launch. If you briefly leave the app, its sound state is held only in memory.
These are stored on your device only, using the standard system settings storage. They are never transmitted anywhere, they are not backed up to any service we control, and we cannot read them. Deleting the app removes them.
What the app does not do
- No accounts, no sign in, no email address required
- No network requests of any kind. Ease has no server and works fully offline
- No analytics, crash reporting, or developer-visible usage tracking
- No advertising and no advertising identifiers
- No third party software development kits
- No access to your photos, contacts, microphone, camera, or location
- No App Tracking Transparency prompt, because there is nothing to track
Children
Ease is safe for all ages. Since no data is collected from anyone, no data is collected from children either.
Changes to this policy
If a future version of Ease ever collects anything, this page will be updated before that version ships, and the change will be described here rather than buried.
